NotesJason deCaires Taylor combines his passions for underwater photography, the environment, and scuba diving to consummate his craft as an underwater installation artist. Biology and time play their part, converting his clean stone masterpieces into vibrant coral reefs, replete with life. The creations remind me of an ocean sanctuary, but they possess the somber qualities of a graveyard; silent, beautiful, and everlasting.
